As a child, Bob Egli started taking apart household appliances once he was old enough to hold a screw driver. His teen years were spent acquiring ATV parts, restoring 3 wheelers and selling them. Since completing his Engineering education at the University of Alaska Fairbanks he has become an accomplished pilot and has continued to evolve as an entrepreneur.
Alaska Eagle Eye grew out of a fleet of Ford Courier/Mazda B2000 pickup trucks he resurrected starting with Shakey & the infamous D.M.T. After multiple inquiries about renting some of the small trucks, Bob decided to expand the business and focus on it full time in 2011.
While the Mazda's are long gone, Bob's fleet now includes 52 vehicles, lots of adventure gear and a growing inventory of equipment. When the opportunity to take a break from the booming rental business presents itself, Bob can usually be found out on a local safari with an Eagle Eye 4 wheeler, bicycle or Kayak unless he's in the air with an Egli Air Haul helicopter.
